2 thankful

We made our two year mark this month...with much accomplished and thankful for.

Blessed with another beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father.
Got sealed for time and all eternity.
Adding a son to our family this coming March.

But with an eternal perspective, we have much more to accomplish as each year comes.

One Black n White Affair

We got to celebrate Aiyana's 1st birthday a couple weeks ago with our family.



That's a face of impatience knowing that she's seconds away from devouring herself into yummy sweets!



I put together some pictures of her first 12 months.

Thought I'd write "one" in each of the languages of her ethnicity:
One: English
Ichi: Japanese
Dua: Fijian
Taha: Tongan
Una: Filipino
Tahi: Maori

Semi wanted to match her in our black n white affair :)

I went with whatever fit me comfortably ;)



Her bum made quite a few appearances througout the night.
Good thing it was dressed appropriately.

Talk about addicted.
Very much inspired (as if UT moms aren't inspiring enough with their tutorials for every DIY project you can think of) by this totally genius idea of a website!
I've been itching to put my inspirations to work.
Keeping my creative juices flowing is a great alternative for my lack of shopping that I haven't been doing for..oh about the last 3 years of my life :)
Memories of my mom in her craft room (which I hope to have one day) flood my thoughts with more motivation.
I want my girls to have inspiration from their mama.
Being that all three of us are left handed - yes Aiyana seems to be doing much with her lefty loosy side - we must do our part in, "left handed people are creative".

Crate Chairs

Haven't decided if it will be for Teihirangi's room or for our living room.  We have a small living room and not much room for our family/friends to sit down, so I thought this would be a great way to add some chairs and storage in a small area. Can't wait to pick out the materials! Keep you updated on the final outcome!

Three Men and a Little Baby

What do three men and a little baby have to do with each other?

A whole lot.

My dad is just WONDERFUL.
My brother totally takes after the WONDERFUL in him.
And my husband? Oh yes, he has that same kind of WONDERFUL going on.

So our son has much potential to be a WONDERFUL brother, *dad, and *husband.

We're having a BOY!

Oh yeah, btw, I've been pregos for about 20wks now.

Does she not make you want to dramatize out every situation that arises?

Does she not make you want to shorten your sentences to just incomplete sentences that totally make sense?

Does she not make you want to wear fur, sparkly, shiny things, choice pieces of accessories and huge glasses all day long?

Does she not have thee best hook ups/friendships with thee best designers in the world?

Does she not make you want to have your very own BGFF (best GAY friend forever)?

Well? Does she?

If not, sorry, we're on TOTAL different pages when it comes to fashion.

So glad they've been doing another season!!! Been following since her first season. She's a mommy now, just saying. 

Home Is Where the Heart Is (pt1)

Grandparents LOVE

The relationship Teihirangi has with my parents has ALWAYS kept her close to their heart no matter how far she is from them or how long she's been away from them.

We're so grateful that she has had the opporltunity to visit home every summer we've been living her in UT.

How cute are her toes??? I've always loved her toes.

Grammy took her to do their toes. I told them to wait for me BUT they went ahead without me.

She learns so much from their example. And she always comes home learning knew things!! Jumping rope is just another thing to add to that list of accomplishments.

Accomplishments (week 3)

We've attempted many times, but I guess she needed her grandparents support.

Leahi Swim Club

Swim lessons in HI are a bit more fun than UT.

First Bon Dance

Mom took Teihirangi to experience her Japanese culture.

Of course she would.



No dancing shoes needed...

We were quite impressed with the video that was sent our way.
